Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the FXLM mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
FXLM is a mobile application that provides film photography simulation and processing tools, including:
- Photo capture and processing with film effects
- Golden hour calculations based on location
- Photo portfolio management
User Accounts
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
User Content and Conduct
Your Content
- You retain ownership of photos you take using the App.
- You grant us a limited license to process your photos for app functionality.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you upload.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the App to:
- Violate any laws or regulations.
- Infringe on others’ intellectual property rights.
- Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App.
- Use the App for commercial purposes without permission.
Intellectual Property
Our Rights
- The App and its content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- FXLM, its design, and film processing algorithms are our proprietary technology.
- You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the App without permission.
User Rights
- Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App.
- This license does not include rights to our source code or proprietary algorithms.
Privacy and Data
- Your privacy is important to us.
- Our data collection and use practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
- By using the App, you consent to our Privacy Policy.
Location Services
- The App may request access to your device’s location.
- Location data is used only for calculating golden hour times.
- You can disable location access in your device settings.
App Store Terms
- Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of your device’s app store.
- In case of conflict, the app store terms may take precedence for certain issues.
Updates and Changes
App Updates
- We may update the App to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance.
- Some updates may be required for continued use.
Terms Changes
- We may modify these Terms at any time.
- Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email.
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
Disclaimers and Limitations
Service Availability
- The App is provided “as is” without warranties.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
- Features may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if applicable).
Termination
- Either party may terminate this agreement at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations.
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
Geographic Restrictions
- The App is intended for use in the United States and other supported regions.
- Some features may not be available in all locations.
- Export controls may apply to the App.

Governing Law
